Hi,
Pro: It do the job as well as my SyncBackSE wich I bought 15 years ago for a lifetime update despite lifetime update ended a few years ago.
Con: It create "sync.ffs_db" file in some directories (Hidden but I know)
Would it be possible to store datas in one db without poluting my directories?
In the past Windows used to store its thumbnails in every directories, remember "thumb.db" and changed its behaviour. Why?
Anyway, nice soft and for free!

not sure if it helps...
I understand that sync.ffs_db is running similarly than thumb.db: needed for each directory. And thumb.db is actually "polluting" my directories....
I'm filtering out sync.ffs_db files from synch in FFS.
Attributes of sync.ffs_db should be "hidden"

sync.ffs_db is only needed for the base directories.

This is unnecessary.

I'm filtering out sync.ffs_db files from synch in FFS to avoid to pollute my local file system, leaving them on the central repository. Since I'm doing this, I don't have them locally on all my stations.

FFS already does this.

not sure - I needed to add the file to the exclusion list - it was not there before. On no one of my workstations (4 of them). Are you sure? Or is this a bug?

What bug are you seeing?

I have the same issue.
All my source directories are getting the file sync.ffs_db.
This effectively changes the source.
Would prefer if this file was not added.

If you use the TwoWay sync variant, the sync.ffs_db files are unavoidable.
For other sync variants (Mirror, Update) the use of sync.ffs_db files is optional, and the result of your own choice (see Detect Moved Files).
And the location of the sync.ffs_db files can not be changed.

I have these db files in the source as well, they don't cause problems ever. Since Zenju chimed in, I am guessing they are filtered explicitly and not something an end user even has a choice to turn off.

I would call it implicitly. And yes, they are excluded, and they have to be!
Copying sync.ffs_db-files left-to-right or vive-versa would mess up FFS.
