The FreeFileSync download for Ubuntu 16.04 64-bit should work on Mint 18.3.

Yes I tried the 32 bit Debian download which after extraction, I opened the FreeFileSync file as administrator, (has the gears on the icon) and it didn't shown any content in any of the tabbed windows, it just has a grayed out install package button at the bottom. Out of curiosity I downloaded the Ubuntu file you mentioned and got the same result .
Oh well, I've been using FreeFileSync off line on windows 7 for many years, and love it. As for the Linux side of my hard drive, I found an alternative file syncing software in the repository that's easy and works well with Linux.

We have tries the Ubuntu 16.04 64-bit download and it does not contain anything that can be installed. (at least that I can find)The FreeFileSync download for Ubuntu 16.04 64-bit should work on Mint 18.3. Zenju, 04 Feb 2018, 09:15
