Hi,

I'm new here and not so familiar with few computer terms.

I am trying to Mirror sync one of my internal drive that contains my data into an external identical drive. I scanned for "Compare" both drives and initiated the Mirror "Syncronize".

Since it was 2.5 TB content that needs to be copied, I noticed the USB port was too slow for the connected external drive. So I stopped the process after 3%. Then connected the external drive to my USB 3 port in back panel of my computer. Then started to compare and excluded large files and let others complete synchronize.

After it has been completed, I compared again, but it came with error access denied with System Volume information file and $Recycle bin. I checked the option in the Menu>Tools>Options, the recyclebin check box are unchecked (locked files, CACL, DACL etc).

I ignored them and the comparison completed. But I see these files in the Overview panel on the left bottom. I manually excluded them and start Sync. Then it gave another error with a file like D:/<-> and E:/

I forgot the exact message. But it seemed like this folder is not able to syncronize. <-> is the only folder name it showed. But I can't see such folder. I just ignored it and it is continuing to sync.

Any idea what these are caused by?

Regards
Anil

In filter it's already unchecked. Can you please show me a screenshot of where this should be set? Thanks for your help.

I had the same problem(s). - The suggested solutions worked for me. - The "system volume information error - access denied" error message did not pop up anymore. - Thanks "therube" & "xCSxXenon" for their hints/help. :-)
