Bonjour,

Do I really need administrator rights to run FreeFileSync?

Bonjour Zenju,
Thank you for your answer.
In order to save files on desktop, without administrator mode, in the destination directory, the saved files are Paragon files. Curious because I don't have installed Paragon.
I resaved in administrator mode and this time the expected files are the destination directory. But I don't see why it's necessary to use FreeFileSync in administrator mode.
The expected files are very common such microsoft words files, pdf files and so on.
Do you have any idea?

That's the craziest thing I've even heard happen, but FFS has nothing to do with that

So why was I kept getting the
ERROR_ELEVATION_REQUIRED
pop-up message for RTS [viewtopic.php?p=39112#p39076] and a similar one for FFS until I started running them with privileges [applied through their EXE files]?

Apparently because I have selected this option

Tools > Options > Copy locked files (requires administrator rights)

which I do need for my

C:\MY PORTABLES\Mp3tag\Mp3tagError.log
