Hi, Using Win 11 on new computer. I am having to keep the Free file Sync save as a batch D to E Icon on the desktop to initiate the batch save. I also have free file sync and Realtime sync shortcuts on the desktop.
In the past, on win 10, I always initiated the C to D batch job using the real file sync shortcut from the desktop and running it. Do I now need to always use the save as batch icon?
Or what am I doing Wrong?
Much obliged for some help. Thankyou

You don't seem to be familiar with how FFS/RTS work at all, I recommend reading the documentation

Dear xCSxXenon,
Thank you for your helpful comment. I agree I am not used to how FFS works at all, I am only a lowly user, hence my asking for a helpful comment in full.
After much searching through the manual etc: it does not seem to make it obvious that one needs to save the batch icon to a folder other than the Desktop, if you don't want the file icon showing. Having thought the logic through, I saved the batch file to a sub folder named FreeFileSyncDtoE and it works perfectly.
Thank you again for your impetus in my working it out for myself, that once the file is utilised it cannot be deleted.
