FFS 13.7 x64 Windows does NOT synch Files from PC to USB-Drive
I have a folder on my PC "D:\Users\Ich\Documents\Eigene Dateien" and FFS should sync it with the folder "K:\Eigene Dateien", a USB Drive.
It should be it as an mirror, will say, all files which exist on "D:\Users\Ich\Documents\Eigene Dateien" should copied to "K:\Eigene Dateien". Files, which not exist on 'D' should be delted on 'K'.
But FFS don't copy the files and folders.
Any ideas? What is wrong?

Screenshot of your comparison results?
What you describe, & your sync settings do look to be correct (to coincide with one another).

Thank you for your quick response. I have made any screenshots. I have created some screenshots, which can be found in the attachment. I hope, they are helpful.

This is similar to issues I've had with a new sync job and an empty target. The sync does nothing.
Something to try that's worked for me is to manually copy one file to the target then redo the compare and sync.

Hi dennisb!
Thank you for your answer. It's nice to read that I'm not the only one with this problem. I will try your suggested solution.

Temporarily remove all of the other folder pairs and run a comparison only

My guess would be a broken global filter (not shown in the screenshots).

After the comparison, NO result is displayed, as if the source and destination were the same.
I have copied the missing files by hand, now the error has not been restored for the time being.
That is strange.

That's why I said to post screenshots, there would likely have been info we could have gathered to determine the issue. Manually copying the files probably didn't fix anything. As Zenju said, likely a filter or path issue#xCSxXenon

What OS are we running?
With an initially empty Target, when you initiate the Compare, do you get a message,
"The following folders do not exist:
K:\Bilder (for instance)
The folders are created automatically when needed."
(I suppose that might not be shown if sometime in the past you ticked the 'Don't show this warning again' message.)
You can always test with a New (.ffs_gui), setting up any folder pair...
Is it only to the USB K: drive where this happens, or would it also happen with two directories on your HDD, with the Target being empty?
