I am trying to sync my documents folder on Windows 10 to an external SSD which holds a mouted Veracrypt container. When I run the syncrhonize command I get this error:
Cannot open directory "Y:\".
ERROR_ACCESS_DENIED: Access is denied. [DirReaderPlus]
I don't think it's a permissions issue ,because the mounted container, "Y", has "Everyone" set to "Full Control".
My FFS version is 12.1
Can't sync to Veracrypt container - Access is denied. [DirReaderPlus]

Did a bit of research and found that this has occurred again and again before:

Try checking out the solutions they found and see if one of them works. If none did, try rolling back to version 12.0 as mine is working without a hitch on that version.

Hey, sorry for the late reply.
I did end up solving the issue by running FFS as administrator. I'm not sure why this is necessary though, when the permissions are set correctly.
Prior to making this post, I was actually running a version of FFS at least 1.5 years old and I still had this issue. I updated to latest version hoping it would solve it, but no difference.
Thanks for the response.
