Hi all,
I have FreeFileSync working to copy files from folder A to folder B and the regular job via manual run works perfectly.
When I set up RealTimeSync I get errors as soon as it detects a file change.
Killed by signal 31 [waitpid]
Any suggestions?
Is RealTimeSync even supported on Linux?
Thanks.
LeoW.

signal 31 = SIGSYS
which is documented as "Bad system call (SVr4); see also seccomp(2)"

Thanks. Not sure what to do next though.
I don't have the Linux admin skillset to help myself out of this.
Does anyone else have an idea regarding a solution?
Thanks.
LeoW.

Also,
I was able to get this very same procedure to work properly on Windows 11.
Big presentation on backups to a user group this Wednesday, so I was hoping to demo this working on Linux.
Any help getting this to work in time would be greatly appreciated.

OK,
Problem solved. I decided to do a clean install of Ubuntu, which does not support flatpak, or have FreeFileSync in its software repository.
I downloaded the installer from here, and it works.
So, I uninstalled the Flatpak version from Mint. Did a reboot, and a clean install of FreeFileSync from the website and its now working.
Something about the flatpak version was causing it to fail.
Does anyone have Flatpak config instructions?
