Drive size error?

I want to synchronize (mirror) two drives (old in Windows 2012 server, new in Windows 2019 server).
The old drive (source) is 1.7TB
Once compared, FreeFileSync says it is 2.52TB

Why?

You would have to run something like SpaceSniffer to get a real idea of the data usage. Are you using deduplication on the source drive? That can't be mirrored
