My cloud home

I am totally new to this and I am trying to use FreeFileSync to backup my PC with my WesternDigital MyCloudHome device, because their website states that it is possible with this software. Any indication or resource where to find useful information? Thank you so much.

Thanks, but I probably didn't explain myself well. In the links I can find how to create an initial static backup, simply by dragging the files you want to backup. This I already knew how to do. But I need, afterwards, to make incremental or differential copies avoiding to make the full copy each time.

Thanks, but I probably didn't explain myself well. In the links I can find how to create backups on external drives on my local network, which I already knew how to do. But in the case of MyCloudHome devices, the visible folder on my local network (which I can direct the backup to) is not accessible through the device's web application, which is the only way to access it remotely. And this remote backup access is what I need.

WD MyCloud (& not that truly understand it - seems like a bastardized concept) is "down".
Though you can Enable Local Network Access on a My Cloud Home.
After that, I'd think you should be able to backup to your device (that physically sits on your disk - not in the "cloud" ;-)).
As far as "remote" access, until WD's "cloud" is back up (cough, cough), you can't.
You can only access it locally.
Hmm, actually they now say, Services are back online and fully operational.
(Though I don't believe that notation was there, Friday, when I looked [& even though it is dated, the Wednesday prior?].)
