Secondary question for the night:
Freefilesync sees boottel.dat on my T: drive.
if I go on my T: and open the view for 'all hidden files' this file doesn't show up.
if I go into an elevated CMD prompt window and head over to T: and do a search it doesn't show up.
It seems to only show up in freefilesync and is 'unable to be copied' (well I can't see the file so that makes sense)
so then how is freefilesync seeing this file? is it possible that boottel.dat exists still as an inode but not a physical file so it's kinda just stuck out there?
bootTel.dat file can't be copied, but also doesn't exist

Viewing hidden files doesn't include hidden system files. It will probably show up if you uncheck "Hide protected operating system files" in File Explorer settings.
