Have configured some jobs to back up my PC to a network disk. Seems to work well. Have used FFS to create batch files that are started from windows scheduler. The batch-script created by FFS has a setting like <PostSyncAction>None</PostSyncAction> at the end.

When the job has finished, it seems like the PC goes into some kind of sleep. The screen is blace, but is lit again when pressing a mouse button or a key on the keyboard. The screen has, however, no icons and the PC is completely un-responsive.
Any ideas what may cause this?
PC is running Win 7 Pro, and the FFS job is copying files from the PC's local hard drive to a networked drive.

You actually watch the FFS job finish and the PC go to sleep? Or are you coming back to a black screen after some time has passed since the task is scheduled to run?
What happens if you tell Windows to sleep manually and try to wake it back up?
What happens when you let Windows go to sleep automatically, according to power settings, then wake it up?

Thanks for your response.
I haven't seen the PC go to sleep when job has finished, but found it sleeping when being away from it for some time and a FFS job had been completed. It hasn't done this prior to start using FFS.

Did a try - putting it to sleep manually, and I could not wake it up afterwards.
Checked the power settings in Control Panel and found that it was set to go to sleep after 30 minutes... This explains the issues. Question I can't answer is why the sleep setting has been changed..... but "problem" fixed!!
Thanks for the quick support!

Fwiw, I have experienced on multiple occasions that a Windows update messed up my Power & Sleep settings )-: ... , "conveniently" resetting those to defaults.

Although the real issue is your computer won't wake up correctly lol
Open cmd as admin, run:
- sfc /scannow
- dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
- sfc /scannow

Yes, run sfc twice
If that doesn't work, look into an in-place Windows repair/upgrade
