Hello,
I synchronize the hard drive (mirror method) of my Desktop to the hard drive of my Laptop, every day over the network and everything works great.
Regularly, I want to synchronize some folders from the hard drive of my Desktop to an SD card that is in my android smartphone, with an USB cable.
It works well but each time, it resynchronizes all the files of all the folders, even if they have not changed.
Why?
Thank you for your help and advice ...
Regards

Such connection between Laptop/Desktop and Android phone uses the MTP protocol.
And the implementation of the MTP protocol on quite some Android phones "sucks".

Hello I don't said that is not working but even it is working, each time the system synchronize again all the flies, which are not necessary to synchronized, are synchronized again.
But perhaps it is what you wanted to explain by "sucks" ???
Excuse for my English I am from France

Hi,
I have good luck synchronizing files to and from my Android phone using SFTP which is the protocol that free file sync supports natively.
The SFTP server program that I use on my Android phone can be installed from the Google Play app store. It turns your phone into an SFTP server.
No cables and no protocol issues.
