Donating Edition updates timespan

Hello. I donated to FFS in the past, and I remember there was a rule about how many months one could still install Donation Edition updates according to the donation value. Now, I've been receiving update notifications indefinitely. Is it normal, is that the way it works now?

Correct, the limits have be graciously removed as of now

I would like to Donate and use the Portable edition. Can I just confirm that FFS no longer has a time limit on Donation Edition updates?
Does it matter how much you donate? I am retired and can't afford a great deal. Is 20Euros enough?
