FFS Version 13.6 Unreliable

I recently upgraded to the FFS 13.6 version. I tried backing up the photos in my iPhone and the software always fails whenever it updates at least 1700 photos out of 17,0000 photos. The software is so unreliable unlike the previous versions because the older version finishes the file sync with no problem at all, but this fails all the time when it gets to process. This happens when the errors start happening and after this it cannot recover. The errors I see is that it cannot find the file and then it fails. I make sure that my iPhone is connected and I can access the directories, but it still fails to find them. I also make sure that my iTunes is also connected to my iPhone. Please fix this problem. If you revert to an earlier version, do the errors persist?
Download historical FreeFileSync releases.

If you take one of those files that failed, are you able to successfully copy that one file using Window Explorer (or some other means)? And does the source file & the new copy then hash compare?

(I'm kind of thinking the issue is something outside of FFS.)

I can successfully manually copy all the failed photo files to the backup drive. I wondered why the FFS 13.6 always fails after working awhile. It is disappointing because it is a complete waste of time to be repeating the update process and is so unreliable. I haven’t finished manually backing it up because it takes a lot of time, but you know it is done right.

Unfortunately, I don’t have a copy of the older version because it got overwritten when I updated it to 13.6. I never had a problem syncing my files with the older version. I shouldn’t have upgraded!

Kindly fix the problem.
