Ping Sound After Files Syncronized Disappeared

This may seem like a small/stupid problem, but FFS used to make a reassuring ping sound after I synchronized files. (Win10, V22H2) All of a sudden that sound disappeared. Do you know how I can get it back? I didn't make any changes (that I know of) to my Windows sounds.

Tools -> Options
In there, press the play button next to the sounds to see if they work

Sounds work if I click on the play button (>) to test any sound. It also works if I put a sound in for comparison, although I want to leave it blank. However, when I put any sound in for synchronization, there's just silence.

I just noticed something else. It used to be that the window that pops up would stay up after the synchronization. Now it pops up & disappears.

The sound only plays when the results dialog is shown.

Yes, that's when I want to hear the sound...after the results dialog. However, instead of the results dialog being shown & staying up, it now pops up & then disappears. Is there a way to keep it up until I dismiss it, because that's the way it used to work?
