Hello FFS.
First of all thank you for this wonderfull tool.
I just have a request for a problem I sometimes have synchronizing files.
I uses FFS to maintain backup copies of my files.
I use 'Update' to sync folders (not 'Mirror' that would result in loosing all copies of a file deleted by mistake).
As I have copies on différent servers, copy operations do use the network.
Sometimes, my directory trees are copied from one place to another (disk replacement, reorganisation, aso...).
If the original files where in-sync with a second location, the copied directory still are...
... except for the timestamps.
Of course1, I can have FFS copy the files that have different timestamps even if I know they are unchanged.
But this will generate useless (endless ?) copy and network activity.
Of course2, I can modify FFS copy options to ignore the file timestamps when checking for synchronisation.
But I will have to keep doing so forever and only rely on file size.
Unfortunately same size doesn't guarantee same file. This is no solution.
Of course3 I can use other tools like Robocopy to reset the timestamps to the desired values.
But this is a schizophrenic solution: We use FFS just to avoid those bad and ugly tools.
Of course4, FFS could propose a new option to synchronize the timestamps without actually copying the files.
Waiting for your comments with kind regards.
