I use RealTimeSync to synchronize my files, setting the interval to 90 seconds. However, from the logs, it appears that the actual interval is between half an hour to one hour. Could you please explain what might be causing this and how to resolve it?

got it. It means that the synchronization will occur after I have modified the file and during my idle time. The setting in RTS is idle time, not an interval setting

No!
Whenever you modify a file in a RTS monitored folder (or any of its subfolder), the idle time timer is started, or reset and restarted if it was already running.
Synchronization will occurs when the idle time timer expires.
In case of a single change, synchronization will start after the idle time.
In case of any further changes occurring while the idle time timer is running, synchronization will start the idle time after the last change.
