Hello,
I would like the “Update” sync function to only include files from the last X days. Is that possible somehow?
I have a “collection folder” with subfolders for photos. I keep copying files from old backups (sticks, external HDs...) into this folder. I simply do this with the Windwos Explorer, because I only copy the old data sources over once and then never touch them again. The only purpose of the folder is to avoid unnecessary duplicates because the old backups are spread across various media. So I can simply use Explorer to copy over only those that are not yet there.
The “collection folder” is now to be “updated” into a “working folder” via FFS. However, both should only be synchronized the first time they are used. Later I want to delete bad photos in the “working folder” and they should *not* be added to the next run. However, files that I copy from old sources into the “collection folder” should of course be added to the collection folder. So I need a function like “only consider files that have been added to the collection folder in the last X days”. Is there such a possibility? Or another way to achieve the desired goal?
Best regards
Frank
Only include files from a certain date in sync

Many thanks for the tip. Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way because this filter refers to the file date. As I add old files from different sources to the collection folder, they are not copied. That's why I need the reference to the creation date. Is there a solution for this?
