Problem filtering files..

I've got a problem excluding word files starting with a ' ~ ' when comparing directories before the update. Tried \~* , ~* and similar entries , but nothing seems to remove this type of file from the search result.
Where do I go wrong?

To get started:

Instead of typing the filter phrase manually, go the the FreeFileSync main window, right-click one or more files from the list, and exclude via the context menu.
