Missing Files

Hi. I ran FreeFilsSync to back up the pictures on my laptop (Windows 11) to my remote drive (MyPassport P/N: WDBYVG0020BeK -0B). When it was complete Windows Properties said that the number of files in the source and destination were not the same. They differed by quite a bit. I re-ran the program and again, FreeFilsSync said the folders were identical. So I deleted all of the files from my destination drive and ran the program all over again. But when I check the source drive, Windows Properties says there are 101,966 files and the destination has only 101,475 files. What could be the issue? Have I done it wrong? Thanks!
