Have two folders set up to sync but it's only syncing from my internal to external, external is not syncing to internal.
Have it set up with "Use database file to detect changes" check box checked and beside 'Create' is the green arrow going right and the blue arrow going left.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Caleb.

Run a comparison, and then attach a screenshot of the entire FFS window once the results show up.
Are you actually using the "Two-Way" sync method?

> how do I attach a screen shot?
You click on "Editor & Preview" (left of "Submit"), and click on the "Attachments" tab, left-below the Preview and Submit button.
After adding a file there, you can select to add it in-line, or below your post or reply.

The picture(s) you are sharing show that no sync actions are required, and all 3232 files within scope for syncing are actually in sync. (Click the "= 3,232" button mid below the left and right Compare results to view all 3232 files.)

Obviously, those added or edited files on your computer must be in the folder must be in the listed left-side and/or right side folder (/Users/calebcromb/Documents/Documents/*Techno Toys*/1010BlackBox) or any of its subfolders to be considered for syncing.
On a side-note:
Is an asterisk (*) in a path or filename valid in Linux/MacOS?
Your left- and/or right base location definition can comprise macros, but not wildcards.
If you want to use wildcards, you have to do so in the In- and/or Exclude Filter.

I'm betting you made a typo. The location on the left looks to be set to "1010BlackBox" but the right side and name of the config are using "1010Drums". You are probably working and making changes in
".../Documents/*Techno Toys*/1010Drums"
but that isn't the folder you have entered in the left side.
Also, as Plerry touched, '*' in a folder/file name is obviously supported in APFS, but you reallllly shouldn't use it. If you EVER need that data on a different file system format, you're screwed until you rename it to something friendlier. I ran into this a few times doing data recovery for customers. It can also mess with Terminal, APIs, or some programs that interpret '*' as a wildcard. Maybe you'll never have an issue, but you never know. If you are just trying to put it at the top of Finder, an '!' at the beginning works and is supported on pretty much everything.
On top of that, you have a Documents folder inside of your Documents folder. This makes me sad
