Business edition does not update automaticly

Hi,

I just bought and installed the business edition. The autoupdate is supposed to work for the business ed but it doesnt. Do I do something wrong?

If you just obtained FFS, what are you expecting it to update to? There hasn't been an update in over two months

I downloaded it and installed it today. My installed version is 13.7, not 14.4 which, according to a message in FFS, is available.

That's interesting...
The auto-update feature in donation edition isn't really "auto-update". It's a prompt that automatically makes you aware of an update, and you can click a button to "auto-update" it. Is this what you are seeing?

Maybe, but when I click on it it does not update, just shows an information page. The Auto-update button at the bottom of the information page is not selectable. In the beginning this information is given:
Automatic Updates: Disabled
Requires FreeFileSync Donation Edition:

The zip-file I installed was "FreeFileSync_14.4_[Business]_Windows", but it apparently resulted in a 13,7-version...

You installed the business edition alongside the free edition you had previously, and are still opening the free edition. Uninstall the 13.7 edition, or all FFS-related entries, and try again.

Thank you very much! That solved the problem.
Earlier I did a reinstall of Windows 11, but it seems like some of the 13.7-files, but not the program itself, were still installed.
