Hi there,

I’m trying to set up Real Time Sync to automatically start when I log in on my Mac but it doesn’t seem to work unless I manually start it. I’ve tried adding it to “Open At Login” in settings but it doesn’t seem to activate.

Is there a way to automatically start it?

Once started it works like a dream.

Thanks,

See https://freefilesync.org/manual.php?topic=schedule-batch-jobs#macos.
That page is about automatically starting an FFS sync job.
For automatically starting an RTS monitoring job, in item 7, don't drag/drop your *.ffs_batch FFS sync configuration file, but instead drag/drop your *.ffs_real RTS configuration file.

Hi, thanks for the reply

I have already set up automator scripts to run backups at night. They have been tested and working fine.

What I am after is real time sync, so if a folder changes 10 seconds after a sync job happens.

The companion program RealTimeSync does this, but I have to start the program and press start every time I reboot my Mac. I am asking is there a way to start that program automatically?

I have attached a screenshot of the program in question.

Thanks

Kira

I literally already answered your question in my above reply
