I have two computers. One Windows 8.1 and the other Window 7 Enterprise. I have a Galaxy S5 phone with a 32gb SD card that I wish to sync with my computers but I keep getting an error "cannot find the folders." Is there a way I can sync? In Windows 8.1 there are no drive letters.

Are you saying you do get drive letters in Win7?
Do you hook up the device via cable, or do you insert the SD card into the PC?
Are you able to access the folders via Win Explorer?

I haven't tried the Windows 7 Enterprise system yet because I was waiting to see if I can get it to sync first with the 8.1 Windows system.
I hook it up via a USB cable.
I can access the folders via Win Explorer.

I see. But if you get no drive letter, chances are not good this will work with FFS, IMO.
If Windows is able to access these folders without drive letter, it probably means there is some kind of hardware handshake taking place, other than via the regular Drive:Folder:File hierarchy.

I had similar issues with a digital camera. When I feed the SD card directly into the PC, a drive letter is assigned to it and I can access it with my 3rd party file managers.

But if I hook up my camera via cable, Win Explorer brings up the storage by its device name, but without assigning a drive letter to it. Which makes it impossible for my 3rd party manager to see the camera.

Some manufacturers offer tools to download, and the other way round, somme 3rd party file managers offer plugins for various camera models, but I wouldnt know how this applies to your case at hand.

This problem is definitively solvable, but not "easily". It's a todo for a future version:
