I keep seeing a message in top left (next to the menus) stating "A new version of Freefilesync is available: unknown."
Even though I have the latest version and I have turned off auto-check for updates.
How do i remove this message?

If you check manually once more it should vanish with the next restart. Are you using the Windows or Linux version of FFS? Is this just some occasional glitch or reproducible?
