I am really impressed, particularly with the speed of this app! I confess that
my batch programming skills are rudimentary, at best.

I have multiple matching directories on 2 Windows XP machines and want to have
the software sync them at, say, 15 minute intervals throughout the day.

Can you provide a more detailed sample of something (an actual sample of a
batch file that I can modify) that will do this?

Thanks!

You needn't use a complicated batch file. Just setup one sync configuration
using multiple folder pairs and create a *.ffs_batch file.
Then schedule this batch file in Windows Task Planner and have it execute
every 15 minutes
"C:\program files\.............\FreeFileSync.exe" "path to your *.ffs_batch
file"

One more (I hope) dumb question. I've let the software create a batch file
with all the folder pairs and it works great. Now, how do I incorporate the
"silent" feature into the existing batch file?

Thanks!

There's an option called "status feedback: silent mode" on the batch creation
dialog.

This thing is amazing! Incredibly fast, even over a VPN connection. LOVE IT!

Only one small thing that would make my life (almost) complete. If there was a
"move" choice in sync. I realize that move and sync are different, but you do
allow overwrite.. I've looked at the various sync options and "move" just
doesn't seem to be there.

Continue to be delighted with this product! I had problems with the XP
Scheduled Tasks, but solved them with another product called System Scheduler
from Splinterware, so I', happy (except that a "move" would be a nice bonus.
