Hi,

Maybe I am misunderstanding the usage of the program but I was hoping that RealTimeSync would run continuously monitoring the folders I have specified? When I click start it does indeed sync the folders in the batch job I selected but when it completes I am presented with a completed window with an overview of what has been synced etc but then it stops syncing any new content until close the window and restart RealTimeSync? is there any way of just permanently monitoring/sycing the folders specified?

Many Thanks

I'll give it a shot:

In your description you seem to be mixing up RealTimeSync (RTS) and FreeFileSync (FFS).
RTS monitors the specified folders for changes, and upon detection of changes
will launch an external application, which defaults to FFS.
FFS will then run the specified batch job as per the settings defined for that batch job.

If the Synchronization settings (F8) for that batch job has a blank "On completion" setting,
it will wait for you to close the progress dialog.
You can change that setting into "Close progress dialog".
Then, if the batch job ends without errors, FFS will close, and RTS should start monitoring
for changes again (and launch FFS again, when applicable).

If the FFS job runs into errors, the FFS job will react according to its Synchronization
"Handle errors" settings.
If you chose "Pop-up", FFS will show a pop-up window and wait for your response;
if you chose "ignore", FFS will finish skipping the item(s) causing the error(s), and then exit.

All of this should have been described in the regular manual:
