new WIN-10-pro, finds a virus, and won't install

i love this app. Please help me get it working on my new windows 10 pro -64.
I did get to download it after tell Norton to not scan it.
But when I try to install, comes up with virus, and Norton stops the install.

OK, solved.

had to exclude the download from Norton scanning.
then
during install, when Norton stops for a SAFE.Heuristic.???, i clicked options and told it to ignore.
then it installed.
I don't like telling protective software to NOT protect me...sounds a little nuts...

Was norton just showing a warning message or did the installer crash? Can you post a screenshot of the Norton message?

@johncasey37, do you know if you can ignore the warnings without any risk? Is there an official explanation from the developer?
I have just paid for the donation edition, and I can't download.
Really disappointed so far...
