I have now experienced twice when copying files from one computer to another that after syncing apparently OK, some of the files are locked, which prevents the application - a database - from working because a particular file cannot be reached "Locked by another process".
Is this a consequence of a setting missed?
I am concerned in case a file locker program is being invoked by freefilesync and for the moment have deleted the freefilesync application.
Advice appreciated.

What OS are involved?
Do you (did you) have 'Copy DACL, SACL, Owner, Group' enabled in FFS?
If so, then maybe its just a permissions issue not being set correctly or sufficient on the other end?
