Hi!
In Windows, I've found "another backup solution" that solved my issue when a removable drive (or any other type) receives another drive letter, so, when I need to refer to it, I may use a "portable path" in the following format (thats how "the other solution" calls it):
=VolumeName:\folder1\folder2
Ref: https:(slash)(slash)www.goodsync.com(slash)manual#portable_paths
(I was restricted to post a valid URL here because this is my first post. You may search for "goodsync manual portable paths")
That could be a good solution, on Windows or on any other system that can handle "volume/drive/disk" names.
On Ubuntu, for example, when you plug-in a disk, the udev daemon usually mounts it in /media/username/volume-name.
Consider that feature could be used on FreeFileSync and on RealTimeSync as well.
What do you think about that?
