accidental partial deletion

Hi - my first using the software and would be grateful for directions on how to proceed to resolve the subject problem. I did a partial deletion of a folder on my USB yesterday. The backed up version on my laptop was created July 12 2017. The software, Wondershare data recovery, recovered all deleted files from the USB. Now I need to filter the recovered files which were either created or modified between 12 and 20 July. I hope free file sync is the tool to use, I contributed $10 hoping that it is. Grateful if anyone who can guide me on how to proceed.

To recover deleted files I use Piriform Recuva, free for home use.
To select files with above criteria I think you can't do with FFS, try instead Agent Ransack, free for home use.

Thanks Gianni. i will give it a try. do you know if piriform will assign its own date to deleted files or keep the last date of the deleted file.

If the date/time info is available in the Recuva list of recoverable files, yes, it is kept.

Date selection on Modified Date can be accomplished also with FFS.
Look for "Select a time span for files to include via the date column context menu" at the "Tips and Tricks" page in the FFS User Manual:
