Hello All.
I was wondering what is the maxium amount of files/folders FreeFile Sync can manage?
I'm thinking of buying a large new hard drive,, 12TB
Seagate 12TB 3.5" SATA3 BarraCuda Pro HDD/Hard Drive ST12000DM0007
scan.co.uk/products/12tb-seagate-st12000dm0007-barracuda-pro-35-hdd-sata-iii-6gb-s-7200rpm-256mb-cache-85ms-ncq-oem
(Actually I'll need 2,, as 1 will be it's backup).
As you can imagine there will be literally a million (Maybe not,, but a lot :-) files/ and lots of folders on this.
What is the limitation of FFS?
I've been using it for years now, it's great,, but a 12TB hard drive is quite insane in size, just worried that it might be an issue.
I'm running winows 10 64bit
Hope you can advise.
Yours sincerely

Anyway you can always split a sync job in smaller parts if needed.
