Compare with one directory, but write to another

Is there a way to compare X:\source with Y:\source-backup-2018-01-01 but write new/changed files to Y:\source-backup-2018-06_29-new ?
If not,this is a feature request :)

Not as a predefined synchronization.
However, you can run your compare, show and select the relevant category or categories and then use the use the Ctrl-T command. See here under "Copy files selected on the main dialog to an alternate folder and thereby save a "diff":"
