On Windows, in a multi-monitor setup, when synchronization encounters an error the dialogbox is presented off-screen. The syncronization screen seems as if it was unclickable since the modal dialogbox is getting the focus.
A workaround:
1. Click on the synchronization window, the hidden dialogbox will get the focus.
2. Press Alt+Space -> Move, to move the dialogbox into view and deal with the error.
PS. FreeFileSync is amazing, the wealth of features and the fact it's basically free is simply stunning! Huge thanks!

Does this also happen with the latest FFS 10.10?

I have the same issue, FFS10.10 on mac.
Was doing a big sync job, an error message came up for 1 sec then the window disappeared, I can't click on anything else, as if the error window is on top, but invisible.
I even went and connected another monitor, but the error window is just not there!
Could only quit FFS to fix it...

@Infinum: Can you tests if the problem is solved with the following beta? https://www.mediafire.com/file/gjiwcratvdzs1p3/FreeFileSync_10.11_%5BBeta%5D_Windows_Setup.exe

@Zenju: as much as I tested the beta it worked well. The conditions weren't exactly the same but if I ever come across the error again I'll let you know.
BTW can you add a donation option by means of cryptocurrency either directly or using a payment provider like BitPay/CoinGate etc.?
Can't recommend any particular provider but AFAIK some of them offer an option do immediately withdraw funds in a national currency like USD, so you would not have to exchange it yourself.
I do not use PayPal and avoid using my card on the Internet but still want to support your work, so a payment with crypto would be most convenient.
