Cant find MTP folder on Fire tablet

I'm trying to move some files from my tablet onto my computer, many of which are already there or may potentially share the same names as other files. I've already moved files from my tablet's internal storage but whenever I attempt to compare files from the SD card to either the internal storage or my computer's instead I get the following error I have attached to this post. I can access the files perfectly fine, just not via using FreeFileSync to actually transfer them.

0x80042009 is Invalid ObjectHandle:

Indicates that an object handle does not refer to an actual object that is present on the device. The application should enumerate the storages again.

I assume pressing "retry" does not help? I'm not sure if FFS should silently ignore this error.
