Sync (mirror) data between two external USB drives

I'm new to FFS and I'm interested in the "Mirror" function.

I understand that generally you have a folder on your computer hard disk at left and a folder on an external drive at right. My need is a bit different: I have all my files on an external USB drive and each week I back it up on an other external USB drive. So I will sync (mirror) my data between two external USB drives (of course they are connected to the computer at the same time).

Is FFS a proper tool to do this task? Are there some drawbacks in this situation? Is it a problem if the external drives have different filesystems (i.e. NTFS and exFAT)?

Thanks

Two USB drives: No problem.
You may want to use USB volume names instead of drive letters.

Different file systems: this may create a problem when crossing a daylight saving time transition.
FFS has ways to deal with that. See here.
