Hello!

I've got this error when I tried to sync our Canon PowerShot 280 SX.
Its connected via mtp on a windows 8 machine.

*Die Dateiattribute von "mtp:\Canon PowerShot SX280 HS\Wechselmedien\DCIM\107___08\IMG_1126.JPG" können nicht gelesen werden.

Error calling "::PropVariantToFileTime(varModTime, PSTF_UTC, &modTime)".
HRESULT: 0x80070057, Falscher Parameter.*

Maybe someon can help?

Can you check with Windows Explorer if the file "107__08\img_1126.jpg supports a modification time? If it's an isolated issue and not a problem of the whole device, maybe we can find a work around.

Hello Zenju,

it seems there is no support for modification time.
The whole column for last modification is empty.

However, the column for creation-date is filled.

So it's a problem with the cam?

Thanks for the clarification. I've made FFS accept devices that don't have modification time support:
[404, Invalid URL: https://freefilesync.org/FreeFileSync_7.2_beta_Windows_Setup.exe]

Your are the best :)

It works perfectly!
Thank You!

EDIT:

Now I've tried to do this job with RealTimeSync. But it doesn't start.
There is always the message: "waiting for directory" and the icon keep gray. When I tried manually to choose the camera-dir, i've get an error.
Please have a look at the attached file.

Hello Zenju

Today, i've tried version 7.5 of FFS and this behavior happens again.
It seems, your modification was not merge to the master-branch.

Can you tell me, when your modification is in the master available?

I suspect you're seeing a different error now:

Hi Zenju

thanks for you hard work and this great software!

I've tried the new beta and FFW works fine now, but RealTimeSync doesn't regnonize that the camera is connected and the icon in tray keeps grey.

Do you have any ideas?
