+1 for this feature! Whether it be in the homelab or at work, I use my own mail relays exposed only to the LAN with docker. They then centralize communications to a public provider like Microsoft365 or OVH with 2FA and encryption.

Do you think it will be possible in the future to set our own email parameters?

I take the opportunity to thank all the team behind this great software. Happy to support such project!

Here is some information that's together regarding the use of your own SMTP server. You can't remove the built-in server but you can add your own.
