hidden files/no of files/permissions

I have an old win tablet (32GB on C:) where a micro sdxc is used as second harddisk. I am trying to copy that to another larger micro sdxc.

Because it holds some (locked) Win files, I am doing the copying on another PC under another username. Also, the micro SDXC may hold files from even another user of the laptop.

After copying by content with FFS, I observe:

Dir A has 1700 files in source, and it has 1700 files in destination.
Copying dir A now over by Win explorer: Explorer finds 1810 files to be copied, 1700 are there already (copied by FFS). (Win 10).

After copying, explorer still reports only 1700 files on the new drive. After taking ownership of the folder: still only 1700 files.

Q1: What/where are the 110 additional? Did you encounter similiar? I have it each time I copy to a new SDXC, on numerous folder pairs.

Q2: Can FFS copy: hidden files, system files, files of other owners (keeping the permissions)?
