Hi,
I am new to this file sync and have had a look around in the settings.
Is there a way to set two folders to be "2 way synchronized" and for it to automatically check every so often and if need be reperform the sync?
I'm thinking say every 5 minutes.

I suppose I can set up a scheduled task but it gets kind of complicated.

Thank you.

Running the sync every so many minutes is indeed a job for the (Windows) Task Scheduler.
Setting up a scheduled task is not that complicated, particularly when the user under which credentials FreeFileSync (FFS) is run, is logged-in whenever FFS needs to run.

The alternative is to use RealTimeSync (RTS, included in the FFS download).
RTS monitors specified directories for changes, and upon detecting such change(s), executes a specified command, normally launching FFS to run a sync. This means, the FFS sync only runs when it makes sense; not necessarily at regular time intervals. See the RTS manual section.

Thank you for your help, this looks like a solution that could work.
