Convert existing to a batch

I have a rather large folder with many sub-folders & files that the first run took almost two days to complete. Now that I have successfully tested the syncing capabilities and found it to work consistently vs. M$s SyncToy I want to run it in Windows Task Schedule.

How can I convert or accomplish this w/o having to start from the beginning. Also, I use two external drives to sync to, one is always kept off sight and I rotate them weekly.

Simply save your FFS sync configuration as a *.ffs_batch file.

So each of the external drives can be out of sync for up to a week ...
Likely not very desirable, but no problem for FFS.
The simplest way is to define (and save) two FFS sync configurations, one per external drive,
and run the corresponding sync.
You may decide to create a custom script that determines which of the two external drives is connected and then run the corresponding FFS sync.
In specific cases you may even be able to use a single FFS sync configuration, e.g. if you assign the identical drive-letter to your external drives when either of the two is mounted.

Good day and thanks for your input. So, if I am reading this correctly I can simply "Rename" the extension to "ffs_batch" ? Or if not, I am so "save" my existing file? On the syncing to two drives, in M$s Synctoy I just swapped out the external drives once a week and at night it synced the files, I didn't have to create two separate sync configurations. Am I not understanding the procedure correctly?

Simply select or open the relevant *.ffs_gui configuration in the FFS GUI, making it the active configuration, and then use the Save As Batch-file icon (the one with the extra black square) in the left-top Configuration window.
I'm not sure renaming from *.ffs_gui in *.ffs_batch would work.

FFS syncs between a left and a right base location (or optionally multiple left-right locations).
Most likely, your left base location is a local (sub)folder and the right base location the root or a (sub)folder of your external drive. If your present right base folder definition meets both of your external drives you need only one FFS configuration.
If that right base folder definition meets only one of your external drives and not the other one, you may need to define two different FFS configurations (by opening the configuration, modifying its right base location specification, and then saving the second configuration under a different name).
As stated before: if a single right base folder definition meets both of your external drives depends on the method of mounting the external drives in your system.
