Before we start I am no expert, so if you can help please make it as simple as you can.
I am trying to sync the above, both are windows 10 but after a few seconds filesync makes my connection drop then after a short while it starts up again. This is continuous using filesync but does not happen at any other time.

Hi Linda,
your issue looks like a wi-fi issue.
In my experience, cheap wi-fi routers can't manage flawlessly big data transfer like those probably required by an FFS sync.
Try connecting both pc to the router by cable and see what happen.
Be sure to disconnect them from wi-fi.

Afternoon Gianni,
Thank you for your reply but I am sure it is definitely not a wi-fi issue, the reason I say this is that it will sync my work between the computer and the laptop but it disconnects when I sync the email between them

They probably generate different traffic type.
What's the name of your email client?
If it is Microsoft Outlook, for example, the mails are contained in a few files that can be very big, and this generally can generate the wi-fi issue that you are experiencing.

Thunderbird email.
I never initially had this problem, the syncing was previously perfect.

You have two different FFS sync configurations:
1) one for documents (and picture files?)
2) one for emails
Sync 1) works without issues.
Sync 2) generates connection drops.
Probably the issue is related to the number/dimension of the files involved.
What version of FFS are you using?
Try updating to the latest version.
Are you using a Donation version?
If this case, did you setup "Parallel file operation" > 1 in the sync configurations?
Try resetting to 1.
Did you already tried to power-cycle the router (power-off, wait 10 seconds then power-on) ?
Just for testing, follow my advice, connect both pc to the router with a network cable to see what happens.
