I am trying to sync files between a remote location and the office. At the remote location files will be downloaded to a folder and then synched to the office. There will be a lot of large files downloaded each time. As the downloading at the remote location can take hours to complete it would be helpful to get the transfer started before al the data is downloaded.
Is there a way to have Real Time Sync start copying before a folder is totally quiet or all file copying is completed?
Thanks

When using RealTimeSync (RTS) to have FreeFileSync (FFS) run a sync, it depends on the write frequency in the monitored directories on one hand, and the Idle-time set in RTS on the other hand.
Perhaps it may be better for your use case to run the FFS sync as a scheduled task at regular times or time-intervals, e.g. via the Windows Task Scheduler, than to have RTS launch FFS upon (no longer) detecting changes in the monitored directories.

Running as a scheduled task is the only way it will work. RTS won't start counting its idle time until the directory is left alone
