Hi all,

Recently I am getting a message about a corrupt database file when using FFS:

====================================
Cannot read database file "/path/to/backup/.sync.ffs_db".
File content is corrupted. (invalid header)
====================================

Indeed, when I check the file it is of reasonable size but contains only 0-byte values. I have no clue how that happened, maybe a network hiccup during an FFS run (the database is on the network drive).
When I ignore the error, the synchronization proceeds, but the message returns each time. How can I re-generate the database?

If you delete the (seemingly/apparently) corrupted sync.ffs_db file, and then run a FFS sync, it should create a new sync.ffs_db file.

For the record, there is no need to delete corrupted database files manually. FFS will do this automatically during the next sync, after showing the error message: viewtopic.php?t=9521
