I just installed Real Time Sync and I get this error message
The recycle bin is not supported by the following folders. Deleted or overwritten files will not be able to be restored:
\\WDMYCLOUD\WDSync\My Documents
How can stop getting the error from popping up on the screen at the end of the sync?
Thanks for the help

Apparently you use the "Recycle bin" method for "Delete Files" (Synchronization settings, F8).
And your WDcloud drive does not support a recycle bin.
You can select the "Permanent" method instead, if that is OK for you.
If you want to have the ability to recover/recycle files that have been deleted or overwritten during the FFS sync, you can best use Versioning.

Plerry.... Thanks for the reply and help. I've just switched from WDSync to FreeFileSync, so the recycle bin isn't a issue about saving.

I need to correct myself.
I don't know WDcloud, so I can only state that if WDcloud would support a recycle bin, this is not visible to FreeFileSync (FFS). So, FFS can not move files it intends to delete or overwrite to the (WDcloud) recycle-bin (if any).
I have two NASses, on which I can define a "recycle-bin" on a per share basis. However, my Windows computer, on which FFS is running, is blissfully unaware of this NAS feature and if I select Recycle-bin as my FFS Delete Files method, FFS notifies me that no recycle-bin is available at the NAS side, although in fact I can recover deleted files from my NAS's recycle-bin.
> ... so the recycle bin isn't a issue about saving.
This phrase makes no sense to me.
You either care about the ability to recover deleted files from a "recycle-bin" or you do not, irrespective of whether you use WDcloud or FFS ...

What I meant saying about the recycle bin is If I delete a file or folder I don't care about recovering them. I consider it gone and not needed.
Thanks for the help

Then select deleted items to be deleted permanently instead of being deleted to the recycle bin. It is in the sync settings of the sync config
