I made a donation immediately after my first use of the Free version. Unfortunately, I've not been able to obtain the upgrade to the Donation version. I tried sending an email twice to the only email address I could find but I think it is the email of the site developer as I. did not get any response.
Can anyone advise how I get in touch with someone who can help me get the Donation version?

I also made a donation in April this year, but I've received no acknowledgement and no advice on how to access the donation version.

How about me, I've not received a response from you? I am happy to send you a pic of the email response I got after my donation and when I click on the link in the email I received after my donation.

I regret I am not as computer savvy as most but I do my best. As mentioned I email you twice without response. As well I started 2 threads on this venue to try and resolve my issue. The first thread you ignored. This thread another user added on and you sorted him out and no response to me. I replied and offered to send photos to better explain the issue I am having and you tell me I should see an error message. Well I have never been able to get the donation edition and here is what I see when I click the download link now.

I want to update you all. I did not receive any response from Zenju to my post above. I further sent another email outlining my difficulty - no response.
In total I have sent 3 emails and started 2 threads here. So I must say the support I have received (NONE) really sucks despite having made a donation.

You do not seem to understand I never got it.....NEVER. Had I got the donation edition it would have auto updated and I would not have any issue, would I? I posted that screenshot to show what I get from the email I received back when I made the donation. Also the owner of the app could have answered any of my 5 pleas for assistance. He answered a person who posted on my thread and left me hanging. I followed up with another email - no response.

This means the website recognizes that you donated and is taking you to your unique donation page when you go to the download page. Thank you for seeking clarification. I will try and answer your questions as best I can. Let me state I am not a power user and at this point I only use the app every 6 weeks or so. Sometimes us older users require a little assistance.
First I posted this same quest for assistance here in another thread several weeks before this thread. As well the first thread was posted after an attempt to get assistance via email to the address on the web site. The email was never answered.
I made my donation via PayPal a year ago and I thought that would provide unlimited auto-updates. The app I installed never did an auto-update. I therefore do not beleive I ever got the donation edition
The issue I am trying to resolve is to get the donation edition of this excellent app so I don't have to download and install updates. I would also like to see what additional enhancements the donation edition provides.

Gotcha, I think I understand!
The auto updating feature only works while your donation period is active. Once it expires, you retain the current donation version of FFS forever. Now, if you manually update to a newer version, your donation features will be gone. You can keep the installer for whatever version was newest for your donation period, but you can't update it anymore without losing features, unless you donate again of course.
I can't speak to the timeline and why the donation version never ended up on your system, both because I can't access that info and tracing back that far would be moot. However, even if you had the donation edition from a year ago, it would have only auto-updated until April 30th.

Well that seems to explain everything except the issue of why I never got to install the donation edition but I guess that is now water under the bridge.
So the only question I have now is how long does the auto-updater work? As I looked at the website I was left with the impression it was a 'forever' thing. Is the active time based on the size of the donation?
I cannot thank you enough for taking the time to set me straight. I am not so disenchanted with my experience with the donation option.

Of course!
The program will auto update until your donation period is over. The program will still work, including the donation features, unless you manually install a newer version of FFS that isn't the donation edition. You cannot reinstall the donation edition unless you have the installer saved somewhere locally.

Yes, it is tied to your donation amount. It defaults to three devices, so if you donate 20 Euros, you get 1 year for those three installs. If you modify it on your donation page to be for 6 devices, it is now 6 months, 12 is 3 months, and so on.
