EPERM: operation not permitted [Chown]

I am getting a "EPERM: operation not permitted [Chown]" error after converting to a Mac Air with the M1 chip and APFS. I have tried to "exclude" the files involved but the error continues. Does anyone have a solution to this? Thanks.
