exclude folders but take their files and dump them into the directory

I don't know if I'm explaining this right -

but what I want to do is scan a folder with a ton of subfolders

and then copy the files with the filter:

*master*.mp3

and dump those into another folder, without deleting the shortcuts in that folder (that part is easy)

instead, it recreates the entire folder structure.

Also, is there a way to make it so it only goes one folder deep to get the files?

Nope, that is no longer syncing. FFS can only make the destination look like the source.
