Error copying .ffs_tmp already exists

I have been using FreeFileSync for years, never had any issues.

Lately it gives me error with files like xxx.ffs_tmp already exists?!? I tried deleting them, upgrading to new version, even donated. Still happening. From what I understand they are created by FFS.

Whats going on? Any flag I could use to force to overwrite?!

What's the exact message? What files/path?

Here is one example, but there is tons of them:
9:05:46 AM Error Cannot copy file
"C:\SPMDOCS\Boats\Boats comparisons.xlsx" to
"Z:\Stephans Documents\Boats\Boats comparisons~e5dc.ffs_tmp".
ERROR_FILE_EXISTS: The file exists. [CopyFileEx]
